How much does it cost?

There is no fee for participating in the Global Case Competition 2021.

When and where is the GCC going to be held?

The Global Case Competition will be held on Zoom from 5-21 March

What do I as a participant, get out of this?
  • You will have the opportunity to experience the challenges of coping with issues of fixing our broken food systems under the mentorship of fellow participants, consultants and referees.
  • Cash prize 1st place $10,000
How do I sign up?
  • If you are a student/university officer, please confirm with your institution representative whether they have registered or not. If you are unsure, please contact the Global Case Competition team at gamechanger@bi.no.
  • If you are not a student and would like to participate, please see the Public Jam.

How many teams can sign up in one university?

Maximum of two teams per university

Are there age restrictions?

No, but you have to be a university student.

Are PhD students allowed to participate?

Yes, PHD students are allowed to participate. 

Is there a limit to the number of students per group?

Yes, a maximum of 4 participants.

How do you define a student?

A student can be either an undergraduate student, graduate student or a PhD candidate.

Are we allowed to form a team across universities?

No, all students representing the team has to attend the same university.
