Abstract

The recent introduction of generative AI has been a significant innovation in the educational technology landscape. In this seminar, Dr. Jere Lehtinen, Chief Operating Officer of LessonLab, will explore the role of generative AI in management and leadership education. The presentation will delve into the use of simulations, gamification, and AI case method to enhance educational and training outcomes. The session will feature an overview of LessonLab, a university spin-off company known for its research-based approach, and live demonstrations showcasing practical applications. The presentation will conclude with a Q&A session, offering participants the opportunity to engage in discussions about potential collaboration and the future of educational technology.

About the speaker

Jere Lehtinen

D.Sc. Jere Lehtinen serves as the COO of LessonLab. He holds a doctoral degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Aalto University, Finland. His research focuses on stakeholder engagement and collaboration in complex inter-organizational projects. Jere has worked in various roles at Aalto University, Tampere University, University of Leeds, and University of Oulu. His research has been published in esteemed journals in the field, and he has also served as a distinguished reviewer for several leading journals and conferences. Jere has extensive experience in teaching and training management and leadership, utilizing the latest educational technology.
