"BI's research and education should contribute to solving society's greatest challenges. To succeed with this, we need perspectives and knowledge from the world around us. The members of BI's Societal Impact Board will therefore be very important advisors for me, the management, and BI in the coming years," says President Karen Spens.
In line with BI's new Strategy 2030, the newly formed board will function as a strategic advisory body, where members will help BI strengthen collaboration and networking between the school and society, including alumni, partners, and the business community. The aim is to provide feedback and input on how BI can develop and enhance its contribution to addressing societal challenges through its core activities.
The board will be led by President Karen Spens and consist of up to 20 members, including top business leaders, distinguished alumni, and leading international researchers. The group will meet several times a year to discuss current issues and topics.
"I am proud and pleased that so many talented individuals and organisations want to contribute to this important work. I look forward to building an effective platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and networking," says Spens.
