The bachelor thesis is a major independent piece of work in which the students are to demonstrate that they are able to approach a problem and take an overall responsibility for solving it in a productive way. The bachelor thesis constitutes a compulsory part of the study programme. It is to be written in groups of two to three students who are to cooperate on the thesis. In special cases a student may be granted the right to complete the thesis on his/her own.
Students must have in-depth knowledge of their specialization area in cultural management. They must also possess basic knowledge of social science method.
The course ends with an open oral examination where each group presents and answers questions from the examinator.
