This course offers a graduate level introduction to the field of Household Finance. Rather than providing an exhaustive overview of the field, the course will focus on selected topics, such as economic inequality, wealth concentration, consumption and saving decisions, expectations, and mortgage markets. The course aims at training students to develop new ideas for their own research.
The course will cover a selection of recent papers, intended to train students to be able to formulate and execute own research within the field.
