In recent years, the Norwegian economy has experienced substantial sectoral reallocation, in part due to the decline in the oil price. The goal of this course is to develop an empirical and theoretical toolbox to examine the structural nature of this reallocation and its distributional impact on workers. The final aim is to write a research paper examining sectoral reallocation in Norway, employing the structural frameworks and empirical techniques presented in the course.
