Sustainable Risk Managment

Introduction

Organizations are currently in a transformation phase where having a conscious approach to risk is crucial for adapting to changes from a sustainable perspective. This applies to both the risks a business is exposed to and the risks it creates for itself and its surroundings. Managing risks and hazards often involves partial analysis within a limited time frame, often associated with a high degree of uncertainty. This can lead to a paradoxical situation where risk management and the expanded use of risk analysis can hinder long-term sustainable development. A holistic approach to risk and sustainability will help the organization build resilience through systemic risk management and awareness of the issue. The overall goal of the course is to support the knowledge necessary to develop a risk management culture aligned with sustainability goals. The aim is to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of risk management at multiple levels through:

A conceptual exploration of risk, with a focus on uncertainty
A methodical approach using various risk analysis tools
A strategic approach to strategic risk management.
