Yes, we offer a meet & greet service at the Oslo S station, which is the Oslo Central Station – the main train station, on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 June. It is very easy to get from the airport (Oslo Gardermoen) to the main Oslo S station, trains go very frequently. Your student accommodation is available from Thursday 16 June.

When you look at the course section, you can see that one course is taught in the morning and the other in the afternoon. What makes our Summer School very student friendly is that every Friday there are no lectures. This means that you have opportunities to explore the city, take your study group to a nice café instead, outside to a lake or a beach at the fjord, or even take a trip to another city like Bergen or Trondheim.

The public transport in Oslo is – and we don’t exaggerate – absolutely fantastic. With a monthly student ticket you can use both busses, trams, the metro and even ferries to take to one of the many many islands in the fjord just outside Oslo.
Oslo has also a wide range of electric scooters and bike rentals on offer.

Norway is known to be one of the safest countries in the world. Crime rates are extremely low, even in major cities such as Oslo. The summer is an especially nice time to visit as we have up to 18 hours of sunlight, which means even if you walk around the city late in the evening or early night, you will see that many others are enjoying the light nights.
