  • How did you experience the student environment at the Bachelor of Business Administration programme?

The student environment was quite vibrant as we were a mix of ethnicities and cultures under one roof. There were a lot of socialising and out-of-school activities that we did together which helped us to connect personally and maintain a positive study-fun balance. I have met a lot of people and made some friendships which I know will last forever. Also, the BISO clubs provided the students with an amazing platform to engage in several activities as an escape from our studies and I personally participated in them actively.

  • How would you characterise the academic level of the Bachelor of Business Administration, and how would you describe the teaching style?

The academic level of BBA was challenging in its unique way, and that is perhaps the one thing I adored and appreciated about the programme itself. We were not only taught the theory but also heavy emphasis was laid on its practical application. This was heavily evident during the examination which has made my work life quite easy. I think there was always constant adaptation and changes from the faculties to incorporate new methodologies and cater to the needs of such a diverse group.

  • How would you characterise your job in terms of responsibility, autonomy, and flexibility?

As a trainee at DNV I get an ample amount of responsibility in terms of tasks that I execute at my discretion, and of course accountable for the results as well. When it comes to autonomy, I think it is quite visible in the learning mentality here at DNV where we advocate that we learn 70% by doing, 20% by asking and 10% by reading. So, I get a lot of autonomy in my tasks which leaves a lot of room for innovation and improvements, but there is always guidance if I need it. The working environment is quite flexible as I get to work from home 2 days every week and as long as I deliver on the expectations, I can structure my work schedule as I please.
